Little hearts for Valentine's

Just in time for Valentine's Day - how adorable are those hand knitted mittens with little black hearts on them? I fell in love... Found them on Etsy (you gotta love Etsy!) and thought to myself 'these are the darnest and cutest things ever!' My shoes are super old, but I love how the red triangles resemble the shape of the heart and I have to say I am quite proud of this pairing right here haha! Myself and my husband, we don't celebrate Valentine's in a big way at all, but it is fun to dress according to a certain theme and I was very excited to shoot these photos. Hope you enjoy them as well!

Green and patterned

You guys, this green patterned Asos shirt has been in my closet for so long and recently, when I needed to wear something else other than a basic black tee, I reached for it and have been wanting to wear all the time now! You could say that I gave it a new life haha. I believe I got it when I was pregnant with my first son Leo (so over 4 years ago!) because I remember wanting to wear something colorful and very loose obviously. And even though this shirt is not maternity, it's oversize on purpose. I love this particular pairing with a gray sweater. It's perfect for a casual look with jeans or to an office.
Do you come across clothes in your closet that you haven't worn in awhile and then all of a sudden you fall in love with them all over again?

Blush pink & quilted

Oh, how I love this Asos quilted blush pink bomber jacket! It's less than $30 at the moment, so how can you say no? If you were looking for a great bomber jacket to wear in the spring (which, fingers crossed will come soon...), then that jacket is it! I think this pale, blush pink color looks great on anyone: blondes, brunettes, redheads and the like. It's very light and will look great thrown casually over the shoulders on hot summer nights too. Alright, I rest my case; snag it before it's not on sale anymore and you will thank me later!

Wearing: Asos jacket (also similar here and here); Maison Scotch jeans (old, similar here and here); Celine ankle peep toes (mine are also via The Real Real; similar and more affordable here and here); Gianni Ferragni bag (old via TJ Maxx; similar here and here); Etsy earrings.

First of all, how amazing is this blue color? I spotted this building a while back near where we live and made a mental note to myself to come back here one time and shoot some photos. Blue may not be at the top of my favorite colors list, but this particular shade is just breathtaking! More posts will be coming your way with photos taken here, because I have a feeling that I will be back here very soon...

Back to the look... I purposely planned to wear this Asos shirt, because I wanted the two blue hues to play off each other. This shirt is so old, but it's one of my special pieces. I love the shimmery blue squares on it; they add this special something to an otherwise basic white button down shirt. Below, I linked a few white button down shirts with a twist.

Wearing: Asos shirt (old, similar herehere and here); BCBG Max Azria vest (old, similar here, and here), Monki jeans (also smiliar here); Celine ankle peep toes (mine are via The Real Real, sold out, similar herehere and here); Etsy earrings.

Miista shoes

I love Miista shoes for their bright colors and interesting designs, but typically they are quite pricey, so how lucky was I when I found these white and blue ombre beauties for $30 at a local vintage shop? I mean, I saw them and gasped! They are so beautiful and that blue alone is such a showstopper. They have a few minor scuff marks, but nothing I couldn't get under control. Need I even say anything more about the rest of the outfit when the shoes are so pretty haha?
Wearing: Miista ankle boots (a vintage shop find, similar Miista here, here, and here); LaRedoute faux fur jacket (very old, similar here, and here); H&M jeans (old, similar here and here); H&M white tee (old, similar here and here).

Army green bomber jacket

New in my closet is this army green bomber jacket. I have a soft spot for this particular shade of green. It's almost like a neutral color to me, because I think it goes with everything! It's subtle and yet has its own way of being the 'it' color in an outfit. Here, I am also adding the mustard yellow via the bag which I think goes so well with the green... This jacket is slightly thicker than you would expect, so it can definitely be worn on warmer winter days. Have you succumbed to the bomber jacket trend?
Wearing: Mango bomber jacket (already sold out, even though I just got it, but almost an identical one here, here and here); Shein sweater (old, similar here and here); Monki jeans (sold out, similar here and here); 3.1 Phillip Lim bag (via TheRealReal.com); Celine ankle peep toes (via The Real Real, sold out, similar here and here).

Ripped sweater

I am not the biggest fan of pink overall, but this sweater spoke to me with its easy vibe - cool, ripped and oversize! I am all about casual style (if you haven't noticed yet). I need to be comfortable in my clothes, which doesn't have to mean boring or plain. And yes, some of my clothes may seem plain, but I always try to add some edge to it and that cool 'streetchic' vibe. Another thing that you might have noticed by now, is that I LOVE peep toe booties... Ripped sweater and peep toe booties paired together say casual cool to me, so there! :) Hope you guys enjoy!
Wearing: Shein sweater (another color here, similar here and here); Monki jeans (also similar here and here), Sam Edelman ankle booties (old, similar here, here and here).
