Floral blouse

Nothing more appropriate for spring than flower prints, wouldn't you agree? And even though I am generally not a prints person, I can't help but want to wear bright colors and flower prints to reflect my mood that comes along with the spring. I am excited for this Zara top (skirt and dress in the same print) and different ways I can style it! Flowers very often come with boho style clothes that I am not a huge fan of (on myself), but this top is not boho at all! I think I might even get away with wearing it to the office underneath a structured blazer. What do you like wearing in the spring?

Wearing: Zara top (already sold out, similar here); Anine Bing jeans (plus similar here); Napoleoni ankle boots (old via TJ Maxx, similar here); DKNY leather jacket (old, similar here and here); Pulicati bag (old via TJ Maxx, similar here), Swatch watch.

In shades of blue

It's finally warming up a little by us and we are so excited! The kids can finally be outside a little more (not that we never leave the house in winter, but there are definitely days when it's simply to cold out) and with the days longer it feels so refreshing! This week has been gloomy thus far, but even despite that fact, we definitely feel the spring coming! With that, a lighter jacket can be worn with just a short sleeved tee underneath, hence today's pics. Don't mind my pale arms haha! I don't tan easily anyways and after the winter I am as pale as it gets haha! Hope you're all enjoying and experiencing warmer spring weather and thank you all for visiting!

Wearing: H&M tee (old, similar here); H&M scarf (old, similar here); Helmut Lang pants (old, same brand similar here, other similar here); Target ankle peep toes (sold out; similar here and here); Wilsons leather jacket (old, similar here and here).

Orange & embroidered

By a complete accident I come across this sweatshirt in a mens' department (yes, mens' department) and I had to have it! Wouldn't you? The bright orange is so me right now, because I have been craving and loving bright colors lately. Add these embroidered flowers along the sleeves and I am SOLD! I have never really been a sweatshirt kind of person, but this little number will come in handy and the design is just spot on. Do you like orange at all? I find it a difficult color to wear, but on a special piece like this one I didn't even think twice about it.

Wearing: Forever21 mens' hoodie (I got an XS); Forever21 cap; Anine Bing jeans; Converse high tops; Target coat (old, similar here and here).

Pop of red

Hello guys! So I know I have been saying that I love wearing black and I still stand by it as I consider it to be my favorite color of all time, but I do love wearing color too! Very often I catch myself being very attracted to colorful images of other fellow bloggers or I will gasp at a beautiful piece of clothing or a pair of shoes in a vibrant color, any color! But apparently, I love a pop of red! Couldn't you tell by looking at the pics above haha? So I made a little collage of my favorite looks where I am either wearing something red or standing in front of a red background. Funny thing is that growing up I used to say that red was my favorite color, but I never really wore red at all. I think I loved the idea of that particular color on me more than I liked myself actually wearing it. Fast forward some years and I seem to finally wear at least a tiny pop of red here and there.
What is your favorite color?

'PinkBlush' dress

How appropriate with the spring already here that I am wearing a dress that screams warmer weather? I wanted to switch things up a bit from what I normally wear and I opted for this gorgeous PinkBlush dress. I fell in love with this geometric print and the colors. I had mentioned before that a shift style is my favorite dress silhouette and this one here checks this box off as well! I added some black to edge up my look a little bit and to wear this dress a little differently than what you would expect. But it is the easiest dress to wear, I swear! Think: adding sandals for a beach look, or a pair of fringe ankle boots for a more western inspired look, or a pair of white sneakers and you've got yourself a city look for a busy day ahead.
You guys, PinkBlush also carries a huge selection of other great items and maternity clothing, so for all you mommas-to-be, make sure to check it out.

Wearing: PinkBlush tribal print dress; DKNY jacket (old, similar here); Napoleoni ankle boots (sold out, similar here).

Pink and red

We discovered this red wall by complete accident and had to stop to snap a few pics! Isn't it amazing? Note to self - come back here for more in the near future haha! I love the contrast of my bag's blush pink tone with this vibrant red. Sometimes the most unplanned and improvised situations turn out exactly how you wished them to all along... Hopefully you guys enjoy these pics as much as I do and thank you for visiting!

Wearing: Zara coat (sold out, similar here and here); Asos strappy bra top (old, similar here and here); Madewell tee; Michael Kors denim jacket (old, similar here and here); Anine Bing jeans (also, similar here); Converse sneakers; Anne Klein tote (gray here; similar blush pink here)

Long black tunic

This long black tunic goes with everything! It's long enough to be worn as a dress; here I paired it with skinny jeans; it can be worn with leggings and so on and so forth. But also, color-wise, it goes with everything I already own, so I don't have to spend too much time analyzing what to pair it with. I just throw it on and I am done. I love drape-y and loose silhouettes (specifically for tops), as I think they look so effortless and are easy to wear all year long. This one here may be a little too heavy for a hot summer day, because the fabric is pretty thick, but there are so many great options out there for any season. Classics like this one make the best investments, because I know I will reach for it over and over again.

Wearing: Asos tunic (old, similar here, here and here); Monki jeans (similar here); French Connection pumps (old, similar here); 3.1 Phillip Lim bag (mine is used via The Real Real); Etsy earrings.

Statement scarf

I always say that I love accessorizing with scarves. They can be the easiest and cheapest of all accessories you can think of, but can definitely transform any look. No need to spend big bucks to make the biggest impact! I often opt out for monochromatic looks (especially to the office), but then I add on a scarf in an interesting color or design and instantly my look is elevated into a more interesting one. Here, I am wearing just your basic gray sweater, a pair of jeans and sneakers, but that yellow-purple tone scarf is definitely making my outfit pop. Yes, I added a colorful bag too, but even without the bag, the scarf would have been impactful enough. With so many options out there, there really is no limit to how you can style your looks using a scarf.

Wearing: Anthropologie scarf (old & a gift from a friend; similar here, here and here); Shein sweater (old, similar here and here); Monki jeans (now on sale for less than $28!); Diesel sneakers (this color sold out, darker beige, white, light blue, dark brown, silver); 3.1 Phillip Lim bag (mine is via The Real Real, similar here).

Striped sweater

This Rag & Bone sweater captured my heart the minute I saw it on a different blogger... I looked for it hoping to find it on sale somewhere and of course TheRealReal came to my rescue. It's pre-owned (as this is the concept of this website), but I cannot even see any signs of previous wear and of course I got it for so much cheaper. I am talking less than $80, whereas its original price is around $325. I love that it will serve me a dual purpose - I can wear it outside of work (I think it's just going to go with everything in my closet haha!), but it's also very appropriate for the office. The colors are just breathtaking, don't you think? So in love with it!

Wearing: Rag & Bone sweater (similar here and here); Forever21 blouse worn underneath (old, similar here); Anine Bing jeans (also similar here); Forever21 silver oxfords (old, similar here, here and here); Etsy earrings.
