Flamingo, leaf and poppy flower print

Leave it to me to wear a dress over a pair of jeans LOL! This eShakti dress came in customized just for me (size and fit) and couldn't be more summer appropriate (even though I wore it with jeans)!

I was drawn to the oversize leaf and flamingo print, all in vibrant colors that instantly grab the attention. The length is slightly above my knee, but the back is longer. Perfect for a beach day or dinner out on a hot summer night.

I wanted to style mine in my own way... enter the jeans and a chunky scarf in very similar colors. The colors couldn't actually match better if I tried haha! I really like how the two contrast each other despite being in the same color palette. It is the different patterns that contrast but complement each other all at the same time.

Check out eShakti website where you will find sizes 0-36W customizable your way.

Wearing: eShakti flamingo dress (also visit their FacebookPinterestTwitter pages); Anthropologie grid scarf; Maison Scotch jeans (old, similar here and here); Zara metallic pumps (old); Zara bag (old).

Random life facts:

1. Kids being sick is no fun at all! My poor baby Elliot has a nasty cold and is coughing up a storm plus running a fever since Sunday... It's rough at night for him too and I hope it passes quickly.

2. June is the busiest month for us, birthday-wise. We have my niece's, both my nephews' and my birthdays, on top of a couple friends' birthdays and usually the entire month goes by so quick!

3. Do you like camping? Our kids love it and we try to go often, but I'll admit that I am getting a little too old for sleeping in a tent... or less tolerant LOL. There is nothing that bugs me about camping other than just not being able to sleep in a tent. And I do not like myself sleep deprived haha, so we have been talking about getting a camper for years now and I think we just need to make up our minds and finally get one...

    1. Thank you Chichi! The color combo of the two was a bit out there, but I liked it and so glad you did too!
