Oxblood, burgundy…

This color is definitely considered a ‘fall’ color (and I do love heavier knits in this burgundy color), but I say ‘who cares?’ I have this beautiful, silky fabric here, which I am only supposed to wear in the fall because of its color? But in all seriousness, how great is this Helmut Lang top altogether, not to mention the fact that this lighter color you see on the shoulders and back is actually an incredibly soft leather. Love a good leather detail!

I mentioned before that Helmut Lang is one of my favorite brands, but it’s quite pricey. Fortunately, there’s places like TheRealReal.com where you can find designer pieces for a lot less. And I mean a lot! This one cost me only $50. Talk about being frugal 🙂

Wearing: Helmut Lang top (old model no longer available, but check out this Helmut Lang one instead or this burgundy one); Anine Bing jeans; Steve Madden peep toes (old, but these are almost identical and also by Steve Madden); Badgley Mischka bag.
