Asymmetry is such a great feature and one of my favorite details in clothing! I see something asymmetrical and immediately I want it haha! This black Nasty Gal top is so simple really, if you think about it, but the asymmetrical draping on one side and a cut out on the other is what makes it so interesting. Great for layering with so many different items; I am thinking even with a crisp white button down underneath for an unexpected and cool look. I layered mine with a mesh tank top in a different color, such that the lines wouldn’t blend in and you could really see the shape of this top. On a different note – we took these pictures when it was still hot out and today almost feels like winter in Chicago! Ouch!
Wearing: Nasty Gal black top (sold out; here is a very similar Asos one); Free People tank top (sold out, but this one is very similar and also by Free People; I like this Free People one too and it’s on sale); Anine Bing jeans (old, but I love these by H&M!); Jeffrey Campbell lace-up sandals; Madewell bag.
