A few years ago, heck maybe even a few months ago, I didn’t own a single purple thing, and now I am really into this color. Also, I like the more pastel version of purple too. This lilac here is somewhere in between, as it’s not as intense, and not a ‘true’ light pastel either.
I particularly love how the sage green in the bag contrasts with this lilac; not to mention the red lipstick (which was a last minute decision)… somehow, these work together and contrast each other so nicely.
I know we’ve seen the peplum silhouette time and time again, but frankly, that style is so flattering for so many and on so many different body types, that I think it’s here to stay. If it were to suddenly disappears on us, it will definitely come back in the future, because if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it, right?
We are so excited for a long weekend ahead… I love long weekends at home even more so than actually going away on vacation. Is that OK to say? LOL. Deep down I really am a home body and long weekends truly, in our case, are just so much more relaxing than a regular two day weekend that always just seems to fly by in a split second. Plus, pools open Memorial Day weekend, and once I’ve mentioned that to my boys, they cannot stop talking about it haha!
