I normally don’t go for slogan tees, but recently made an exception for a Zara tee you saw in this post and the one you see here (linked below). How could I say no to these colorful LOVE letters that also – additional bonus – have a fuzzy texture? So many good things happening in one tee!
I decided to make my entire outfit colorful, when normally I probably would have kept the rest of it pretty muted. But I knew immediately that that’s how I wanted to style this t-shirt – with my sheer color block socks that add yet another pop of color.
Get this tee before it gets sold out – it’s been out of stock before but now it’s available again in a few sizes!
Wearing: River Island LOVE t-shirt (only $32!); Asos patent leather skirt (old); Asos sheer color block socks (similar here, here and here); Target block heel sandals (identical here and here now on sale for less than $40).
Random life facts:
1. August is my older son’s birthday month (and my brother’s) and then…. he also starts Kindergarten and so for our family this is a huge, daily routine changing, moment. I think we have all the logistics figured out by now, but still, a big change nonetheless!
2. I haven’t biked as much as I would like to this summer, which is my huge regret. At the same time, I have so many things on my plate (with work being busy too) that I honestly don’t know when I could possibly do it LOL. I know I need more exercise, if not for the physical benefits, than at least for mental ones, as I feel like I am going crazy sometimes and stress too much and I know that nothing puts things in perspective better (or lets you disconnect from busy daily schedules and stresses) than a good physical exercise.
The one hope for me is that maybe as the weather gets more fall-like and high temperatures go away, it will be easier for me to go on a bike ride during those cooler evenings.
