This color block sweater is just THE best! I mean, it has red in it, it has color blocking and a giant turtleneck! What’s not to love? LOL
I’ll say this though, it is pretty chunky and maybe even too much for me, so I either wear it when it’s really cold out or I have to be prepared to take it off at some point and treat it as that outer layer that will not necessarily stay on me all day, if that makes sense.
Leave it to Zara to have the best sweaters, right? It never disappoints in that department and this one was on sale when I got it, but now it’s gone unfortunately… But don’t fret, I am linking a whole bunch of other cool ones right below.
If you think you can only wear sweaters in the winter time, think again. I wear mine with delicate dresses in the spring, mini skirts and shorts. If you need an extra layer for, let’s say, a cooler evening in the summer, instead of reaching for a jacket, grab a sweater and layer it on top of your outfit for that cool, effortless look.
Side note, how everyone’s holding up this winter? We have had some pretty cold weather recently, and I mean really cold, which wouldn’t maybe be a surprise for us in Chicago except the fact that all December was pretty mild and now I am just so not happy about 10-20F temperatures!
Anyhow… I have been working a ton all January and with everyone sick the last few weeks I feel like my body is shutting down from all the stress and countless working hours that I need a major pick me up of some sort – either a few days of doing absolutely nothing and resting to charge me back up. Not to complain, I just need a break is all. But don’t we all from time to time? I think everyone can relate!
Wearing: Zara sweater (sold out, almost identical here, love this very similar one here, here, here, here, here and here); Monki jeans (similar here, here and here), Celine peep toe pumps; Zara beaded bag (sold out, but how amazing is this one?).
