Not only for Valentine’s Day

February 9, 2019

Not only for Valentine’s Day because my outfit is pretty causal, but definitely the booties and bag add some spice and make it more of a ‘night out’ outfit.

Why does red look so good in photos? LOL! I could always wear red because it photographs so well but I realize that it would bore everyone to death haha!

My sweater is on major sale (linked below) and I fell in love in that tomato red color; it is quite long so can be worn with leggings too. I tucked it in here, because I wanted to show off the waist of my pants, but otherwise, it can be styled in so many different ways.

So, back to Valentine’s Day… any huge plans? Whether or not you dress up or not at all, or don’t even leave the house (which is totally ok in my book!), I immediately associate it with wearing red, and so here we go! This absolutely is an outfit I would wear (or will wear, weather permitting). We happen to have plans for next Saturday to go out to dinner, but only because my mom will stay over the weekend with us and she can watch the kids that night. Otherwise we would probably not go out of our ways to find a sitter and plan a night out. It’s fine if we just stay home. I am a firm believer in celebrating Valentine’s Day and being kind to each other EVERY day of the year and so I am totally ok with not doing anything special on actual Valentine’s Day. Who’s with me?

Wearing: Asos sweater (almost identical here and here); Asos pants; Urban Outfitters bag (similar here and here); Target velvet booties (old, similar here).
