How to style a red dress in leopard print!

It’s been a recurring thing for me recently – wearing dresses, even though I am not a dresses wearer per se. But I’ve been coming across these really good ones; ones I can’t say ‘no’ to! This dress is so flowy and comfy, it’s like you’re wearing a parachute and have all this fabric to wrap yourself in LOL!

Leopard print is such a great print and it always attracts me. I know it’s not for everyone… I feel like with a leopard print you either love it or hate it; there’s no in between, unless it comes in small doses then maybe even those that normally are not a fan of such print, can actually stomach it.

This dress calls for more of a casual look (in my opinion), but a different silhouette might actually feel dressier and would go with high heel sandals better. But since I thought this one was more of a ‘everyday’ type of dress, I wore mine with sneakers. I think the addition of sneakers here created a very approachable, casual & comfortable look anyone can pull off.

See the white little gizmo attached to the hem of my dress in a couple photos? I am wearing DressWeights; a ‘peel off and stick on’ contraption that you can attach to the inside of your dress/ skirt hem that will prevent your dress to fly up on a windy day! Aren’t these just genius? They provide enough weight so the dress stays put and they’re not too heavy either so they don’t pull your dress down too much. So stoked about these and how clever they are!

Wearing: Asos dress (similar here and here); vintage gray turtleneck; Diesel sneakers (other options here and here); Zara bucket bag (similar here and here).
