Today’s post is hopefully the last one this season of me wearing layers LOL! I mean… enough of this in between weather! But funny thing that once fall comes I love wearing layers (and fall is my favorite season too, by the way); I guess I am just too impatient in the spring and the in between weather actually bothers me this time of year as I want summer to arrive so badly haha! Speaking of, the weekend looks so promising and we are already talking bike rides and just being able to spend time outside with the kids. Our older, Leo, says he likes playing outside the ‘bestest’ haha and that makes me so happy. His younger brother was asking him ‘what do you like doing the most: ‘playing Nintendo games, playing outside or watching TV’ and the fact that his answer was playing outside is Just.The.Best! But I digress….
My bomber jacket is reversible (score!); it has a more subdued, less busy print on the other side (you can see it peeking through a little in the second photo from the bottom). I opted for the striped side here because I wanted that clash of patterns with the floral blouse. The velvet bow on the blouse adds that extra texture and dimension and I really like how the jacket and blouse look together. Normally I don’t wear too many prints all at once but I always enjoy it on other people so I think I will try and do that a little more. You might even say that I stepped outside my comfort zone here a little and I DO like it! Do you like mixing prints or not so much? Would love to know, so please leave me a comment right below! Have a great weekend everyone!
Wearing: Scotch & Soda bomber jacket; Zara floral blouse (similar here and here; my exact blouse on Poshmark here); Maison Scotch jeans (similar here); Target peep toe booties (similar here and here).
