Still in sweater weather mode!

May 18, 2019

Yes, I am wearing a sweater again, because the weather has been so weird lately – we switch back and forth between very warm days and cooler days and it is so confusing. Mostly I am confused about what I should put on my boys in the morning as they head to school/ daycare for the day. I want them to be comfortable but not too hot in too many layers later on, when it gets warmer throughout the day! I bet you overnight summer will come (that’s how Chicago is) and all of a sudden I won’t have any shorts for them that fit haha! I should get on that and make sure we are set for that weather clothes-wise once it comes. But for now, we have a cold evening today so we’re staying put by a warm fireplace!

But anyways… my sweater is a mohair blend and it’s a tiny tiny bit itchy, but oh these colors are so lovely! Love the vibrant red and a lightly darker burgundy red color in the sleeves. You know I love color block too so this is perfect for me! I love that the length is that perfect longer length to cover my butt or wear with leggings. It’s like a cozy blanket I can wrap myself in. Can you tell I love sweaters? LOL! I could go on and on forever! Both my jeans and sweater are H&M and I had forgotten about these jeans but let me tell you, they are my favorite distressed pair for that laidback / cool look that distressed jeans provide. Put on some killer strappy sandals and you’ve got yourselves a very simple yet sophisticated outfit that took almost no effort to put together!

Wearing: H&M sweater; H&M jeans (identical here); Zara sandals (similar here, here and here); Shein bag.
