The queen (or king?) of all wide leg pants out there! I mean… I am such a huge fan of wide leg pants and always love them on other people too! I, personally, own maybe only a couple pairs but boy when I saw these it was love at first sight. Not to mention that this lime green/olive green color is so unique that it really stands out and makes my heart sing LOL!
So today I wanted to show you how to style wide leg pants. Now, I know many of you may think ‘wide leg pants are not for me’ or ‘how do I style them’, etc.? But it’s quite easy to wear them really; you just have to think about proportions of the entire outfit. I knew I wanted to wear this yellow sweater here but because it’s quite loose and has volume to it, I tucked it in to expose the high waist and ‘shorten’ the length of the sweater and minimize its volume. Otherwise the loose, longer fit with volume to it did not look good with the volume in the pants. So think shorter and tighter fit at the top so the volumes at the top and bottom don’t argue with each other. Hope that’s helpful.
At first I though I would wear a simple white t-shirt here but then I had an eureka moment and thought ‘ah, yellow sweater and my green bow slides’ haha! I love how the different green tones look together and the yellow in the sweater adds that extra punch! Hope I inspired you in some way to try a wide leg pant!
Random life facts:
We’ve discovered frozen kefir popsicles at a local Whole Foods just recently and oh my gosh these are so genius! How didn’t I come up with that before to make at home? Naturally, they have probiotics because they’re made of kefir but they also taste like the real deal. You couldn’t tell you’re not eating ice cream! I linked similar ones here as I can’t seem to find those exact ones we got, but I’m sure those are just as delicious.
