Leave it up to me to get a quirky looking piece of clothing LOL! But I loved this sweater from the moment I saw it – that embroidered overlay is just so unique and cool! It’s definitely an item you can’t have any opinion on; whether you love it or hate it, you will definitely stop and take another look at it 🙂
I really like that the this rich brown color is such a staple color for fall and yet the whole sweater feels unique with the addition of that embroidered detail… I think the balance here of that said unique detail and the classic brown (very autumn-like) color is pretty genius! But that’s Zara, right? It’s seriously so dangerous to even go on their website or to their store 🙂 because I ALWAYS find at least a few things I HAVE TO HAVE but can’t because obviously it’s not sustainable that I get everything I like 🙂
We went back to one of my favorite locations to shoot these photos which is downtown Naperville; this cute town right by us, only about a 10-15 minute drive. I purposely chose this location for this outfit because I really wanted that burgundy/ brown-ish wall color to pick up on the brown in the sweater and vice versa. I think these two tones work so well together and the sweater really pops here!
How’s fall been treating you recently? We’ve had such a short fall-like weather here in Chicago…. That’s almost always the case here but this year it was especially short, sad face! I love fall weather in Chicago and always look forward to it but it got so cold here so quickly that I don’t think we’ll get that crisp fall weather back! Plus, it has already snowed here last week (on Halloween!) and I think we just have to accept the fact that winter came, period. We’ve also had a lot of gloomy days and that makes it so difficult to shoot new content LOL but Imma make it work 🙂 ! Today was a sunny day so I’ll take it! Hope you had a great Thursday everyone!
