How to style a purple plaid coat
Such coincidence you guys that I had just recently shot these photos and then I come across an almost IDENTICAL coat on asos.com and I can link it for you! My coat is so old, literally about 7-8 years old at that point and originally I had seen this purple plaid on a coat at Zara’s a very long time ago. I debated if I should get it for way too long and it got sold out… And then a couple years later or so I stumble across this coat you see me wearing at Shein.com and obviously mine was a lot cheaper than the original Zara one but had that same plaid pattern… so I jumped at it and got it at Shein!
But imagine my surprise when just a week or so ago I find it again on Asos by this brand Gianni Feraud. And granted, it’s at a slightly higher price point than mine, but looks almost identical. You can appreciate this story of coincidences only if you really understood how much I had loved that original Zara coat I never got LOL 🙂 So much so that I was looking for it on eBay (years ago) but wasn’t willing to pay twice as much for it (you know how that goes on eBay…) so I gave up on finding it altogether until my coat showed up on Shein. But anywho…. happy to link the Gianni one below for you!
How’s your weekend going so far? We’ve had a lazy one because it’s been a cold one so far (especially today) and so not much can be done on cold days like that. We had a couple kids’ birthday parties and that’s pretty much it… it’s too cold to be outside so we’re staying home and enjoying a quiet weekend. I also had worked a lot since going back to work after the holiday break so I really needed a quiet weekend anyways with not a lot of plans and places to be… I hope the weather does improve though because the boys love being outside and too much time spent inside at home has them going crazy sometimes LOL! There’s only so many crafts projects or lego building they want to do haha… so fingers crossed this 18F degree weather will go away very soon!
